European meeting tool

The meeting tool for people
who don't trust Google or Zoom.

Punkto runs your structured meetings in Europe, on European servers, under European law. No US Cloud Act exposure, no audio kept after the call, no AI training on your conversations. The full transcript and summary stay encrypted at rest, and you can wipe everything when the session ends.

Free tier · No credit card · 3 AI transcripts a month, 1h max each

What an American meeting tool actually does with your conversation

When you host a call on Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams, your audio is processed and often retained on infrastructure owned by a US corporation, subject to the US Cloud Act and to FISA Section 702. That means a US authority can compel the provider to disclose your data, including data stored in European data centres, without your knowledge and without notifying you.

The Schrems II decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union has made this exposure explicit since 2020. The reauthorization of FISA 702 in April 2024 made it worse. EU-region hosting on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud does not change the legal regime applicable to the parent company.

On top of that, several leading meeting AI tools train their models on the audio they receive, unless you remember to opt out, page by page, in their settings. The default is surveillance.

What Punkto does differently

EU-only infrastructure

Hetzner Helsinki for the application, EU-region database, self-hosted real-time sync and video infrastructure on European VPS. No US subprocessor, no AWS, no GCP. The full stack stays under European jurisdiction.

Zero audio retention by design

Audio is never persisted to the database. It is processed in memory during transcription (a few minutes at most) then destroyed. The transcript and the AI summary are the only artefacts that exist after the meeting, and both are stored encrypted with AES-256 in a European database. If a failure interrupts processing, the raw audio is preserved on disk for at most 24 hours so it can be recovered, then automatically purged.

No training on your conversations

We use Mistral and Groq for transcription and summarization. Both providers are contractually bound to not train on customer audio. We never share your data with anyone, ever, for any model improvement or marketing.

Ephemeral and end-to-end modes

If the standard mode is still too much for you, run the session in Ephemeral mode and nothing is persisted to our database. For sensitive files, the End-to-End mode encrypts attachments in your browser using a key that lives only in the URL fragment and never reaches our servers.

Open about the trade-offs

We do not pretend the cards and chat are end-to-end encrypted, because they go through our EU relay in clear so collaboration works. We tell you exactly what is encrypted and what is not. The full details live on the security page.

Free tier is real, no credit card, no demo gating. Three AI-summarized sessions a month is enough to feel the difference. Pro plans start at 9 EUR a month when you need more.
